Making a warranty claim

subtel.fr offers a three-year warranty on all products under the conditions set out below, without prejudice to the consumer's statutory rights under the French Consumer Code Articles L.217-1 ff.. As a consumer you may choose to rely on these warranty terms or to exercise your statutory rights. The warranty is valid for three years from the date of delivery.

To make a warranty claim, you must first return the product to us. You are responsible for the initial return shipping costs. If our inspection confirms that the warranty applies, we will reimburse your shipping costs – based on the cheapest available shipping option – by bank transfer. Please provide a SWIFT and IBAN code for the reimbursement.

Make sure to clearly indicate that you are exercising your warranty rights. Enclose a copy of the receipt with your return – we cannot process your claim without it, as it is required to verify the start of the warranty period.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty covers the product characteristics described in each article. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or issues outside our control are not covered.

The three-year warranty does not apply where defects arise from incorrect or improper use, insufficient care or careless handling. We also exclude defects or damage caused by failure to follow the accompanying instructions.

Replacement products

If you receive a replacement product, the warranty period is not extended by another three years. Instead, the remaining warranty period applies to the replacement product, which continues to be fully covered by the warranty for any defects.

If the specific product is no longer available, we reserve the right to replace it with a similar product.

Liability

Our liability under the French Civil Code Articles 1245 ff. (Act of 19 May 1998) is not affected by this warranty.
